Apply In-Person:

1. To check voter registration status in person, the applicant has to visit the nearest polling unit in his/her area of residence.
2. The polling units in your area can be located with the help of the Polling Unit Locator Tool in the following polling unit locator Link
3. Open the link and select your state, Local Government Area and ward with the help of the respective drop-down menus, then click “Search” button.
4. Find a nearest polling unit among the list displayed and make a visit to the polling unit.
5. Provide your date of birth or Voter’s Identification Number (VIN) to the relevant official at the unit.
6. He/she will reveal your Registration status to you and locate your registration.
   

Apply Online

1. To check voter Registration status online, the applicant has to visit the following online status link
2. Visit the link and click the option by which you want to check the registration status.
3. Click either “Check Status Using Your Date of Birth” option or “Check Status Using VIN” option.
4. Respective tab will get opened. Enter the required details in the relevant fields and click “Check status” button.
5. Once done, your registration details will appear on the screen and you can make use of it.
