1. To apply for a Visa on Arrival online, the applicant has to visit the Nigeria Immigration Portal by clicking the following link: Link
2. In the first page, select the nationality, visa type and click “Start Application” button. In the next page you have to select anyone among the browser accounts present there and login by entering the user credentials.
3. The next page will list out the eligibility criteria, check it out, also click “VOAP Guidelines” to go through the guidelines and click “Next” button. A dialogue message will appear in which you have to click “Acknowledge” button.
4. Then your online application form will get opened. In the first step, you will have to fill the name and other personal details of the applicant, and then upload a passport size photograph. Do as required and click “Next” button.
5. Step 2 will be opened, read the instructions carefully and proceed with entering all details in the respective fields as required, click “Next” button.
6. Complete the third same as the before by providing the required details, then clicking “Next” button. Also, go to next, complete it as required and click “Next” button.
7. In the step 5, the applicant needs to upload the necessary documents by clicking “Choose file” button, complete the other mandatory fields and click “Submit application” button.
8. In the next step, go through the completed application form and click “Print & Continue” button. Print the completed application form for submitting at the entry port and click “Continue” button to proceed.
9. In the step 7, click on “Proceed to Checkout” button. In the further step, your cart will be ready in most cases, click “Proceed to Online Payment” button or enter the application ID, click “Add to Cart” button and then click “Proceed to Online Payment” button.
10. In the next step, select payment option, checks mark the boxes if you comply with the conditions and click “Next” button and “Continue” button in the next step.
11. In the payments page, enter personal details, billing details and card details and click “Make Payment” button for making the payment. Make the payment by following the on-screen instructions and also print the receipt.
12. After successful payment, a receipt will be sent to your email ID which you can print and use as a proof of payment.
13. The application would be processed, after which, an Approval confirmation and Approval letter would be sent to your email within 48hrs.

• Any African National or a Business Traveller from any other nationality must obtain and possess a Visa on Arrival if they wish to visit the Republic of Nigeria.
  

• Visa on Arrival is available to citizens of all countries except ECOWAS Nationals who do not require visa to visit Nigeria and other countries which Nigeria has entered into visa abolition agreements.
• Successful online payment is not an approval. Applicant should not proceed to Nigeria until receipt of ‘Visa on Arrival Approval Letter’.
