Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Tint License or Permit in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Nigerian Police Force.

3. Visit the office and obtain an application form for a Tint License of Permit from the relevant department.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Complete the application form and attach the documents (as required) with the completed application.
6. Then submit the application package to the relevant authority at the office. Pay the required amount of fees as directed by the officials.
7. After submission, the submitted applications and attached documents will put forth for verification and validation.
8. On checking and finding that the requirements have been furnished properly, the officials will proceed to perform further required actions.
9. Once all the necessary processes are over and the permit/license is ready for collection, you will be notified through phone or email and asked to collect the document.
10. You can also check the status of the application by contacting the Police Command to which you applied.
    

Apply Online

1. To apply for Tint license or permit online, the applicant has to visit the following apply online
2. If you are already registered, enter the email and application ID in the respective fields and click “Login” button.
3. Otherwise, complete the application form which is on the right side and click “Sign up” for getting registered.
4. A pop-up with your application ID will be displayed at the top. Note it down, click “ok” button and proceed.
5. Now enter your email address and application ID in the fields provided and click “login” button.
6. Click the Bio-Registration link and complete the Bio-Data form when logged-in and provide the details of the Vehicle you want to obtain a Tinted Permit for.
7. After completing, click “submit” button. Vehicle Registration page will open, complete it and click “submit” button.
8. Completed application will be displayed, click “print” button to take a print out and click “finish” button.
9. On receipt of the application, the submitted application and other documents will be verified.
10. You can check the status of the application in the table present in the homepage of your account.
11. Once the application has been approved, take the Print-out to any Police Command, to capture your biometrics and collection of your Tinted Permit Certificate.
