Apply In-Person:
- To apply for Post Landing Charge Certification in person, the applicant/exporter has to approach the importing country’s embassy/consulate in Nigeria.

- You can obtain information regarding the importing country’s embassy/consulate by contacting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Visit the respective embassy/consulate and approach the consulate official who deals with Post Landing Charge Certification matters.
- He/she will assist you in obtaining the Post Landing Charge Certification for your client or customer in the importing country.
- Make sure that you have all the documents required to complete the process. The consulate official will inform you regarding the required documents.
- Refer “Required Documents” section of this page for clarification.
- You may also have to complete an application format or will be asked compose an application letter as a request for obtaining the certification.
- Follow his/her instructions and complete the application process. Submit all the required documents to the relevant authority.
- After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
- Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take the required steps to issue the document.
- When the document is ready to be collected, the applicant will be notified by the office and the applicant can collect it by any applicable means.
