Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Post Landing Charge Certification in person, the applicant/exporter has to approach the importing country’s embassy/consulate in Nigeria.

3. You can obtain information regarding the importing country’s embassy/consulate by contacting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
4. Visit the respective embassy/consulate and approach the consulate official who deals with Post Landing Charge Certification matters.
5. He/she will assist you in obtaining the Post Landing Charge Certification for your client or customer in the importing country.
6. Make sure that you have all the documents required to complete the process. The consulate official will inform you regarding the required documents.

8. You may also have to complete an application format or will be asked compose an application letter as a request for obtaining the certification.
9. Follow his/her instructions and complete the application process. Submit all the required documents to the relevant authority.
10. After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
11. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take the required steps to issue the document.
12. When the document is ready to be collected, the applicant will be notified by the office and the applicant can collect it by any applicable means.
