Apply In-Person

1. To apply for the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), you make your application to the ITF area office. Please view the ITF area offices' contact details through this link: - ITF Area Offices.
2. Download the ITF employer registration form through this link: - Form A.
3. Complete the application form accordingly and attach all the required supporting documents to the application form.
4. Go to the nearest ITF area office and submit your complete application along with supporting documents to the official at the service desk.
5. Then your company will be assessed for its liability by ITF Revenue, Inspectorate, and Compliance Officers.
6. After the assessment process, you will generate the Required Rate of Return (RRR)through the ITF Pay-portal or Remitta platform.
7. Upon generating the RRR, go to the bank and pay the training contribution and obtain the payment receipt.
8. Then submit the payment receipt to the ITF office for filing and you will be issued with the hard copy of the receipt and acknowledgment letter of the payment.
9. The ITF Area Office will then forward your details as contained in the application to Headquarters’ Revenue, Inspectorate, and Compliance Department for issuance of ITF National Number.
10. The ITF National Number will then be sent to the Area Office for Scripting and issuance of Certificate of Compliance.
11. Then a certificate of compliance will be given to you as evidence of compliance with the ITF Act.

• A copy of the company’s Tax Clearance.

Employers having either five or more employees in their establishment or having less than five employees but with a turnover of N50m and above per annum is eligible to apply

The application is free.

The payment is valid annually.
