1. Prepare for the test by getting a copy of the Driver Qualification Handbook, which you can buy from motor registries or download free here: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/downloads/driver_qualification_handbook.pdf.
2. Book for your test either online, by calling 13 22 13 or in person at any motor registry.
3. Take your test a NSW registry office. Bring along with you your license, proof of identity and means to pay for your full license.
4. If your test is successful, you'll have your full driver license.

The Driver Qualification Test (DQT) is a touch-screen test that combines a knowledge test questions about road rules and safe driving and a more advanced version of the Hazard Perception Test (HPT) that you completed to get your P2 license.
