Apply by Mail

1. To apply for a Tobacco Collector Agreement, the applicant will need to mail an application form to the Finance and Treasury Board.
2. The applicant will need to submit a tobacco wholesaler license application. The applicant has to download and complete the application form given in the following Link
3. Fill out the application forms with all the relevant details.
4. The applicant will need to attach required documents, find a list of documents under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The fee for this procedure will be intimated by the respective authority
6. Mail the application form to the address mentioned under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
7. Once the application has been signed and approved, the applicant shall receive their license by mail.
8. Once the applicant obtains a license they are automatically appointed as a tobacco collector and must pay the tax every month.

• The applicant must be 19 years of age or above.
• The applicant must sell, offer or sell tobacco for resale.

• The applicant will need to pay an application fee of 2000$.

• The Tobacco Wholesaler License expired on the 31st of May, every year.

• Licensed importers and wholesalers are appointed as tobacco tax collectors and are required to report and remit the tobacco tax on products imported or wholesaled on a monthly basis, even if the return is nil.
