New Brunswick - Apply for Pesticide Service Registration


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for Pesticide Service Registration in person, the applicant has to visit the Authorizations and Compliance (Division) of the Environment and Local Government Department.
  2. Address links of the office can be found in the following Contact link
  3. Visit the office and obtain an application form for Pesticides Service Registration from the relevant department.
  4. Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
  5. Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature and attach the required documents with the application form.
  6. Then, submit the application package to the relevant authority at the office. The applicant should pay 220 dollars as fees through any of the available payment modes.
  7. Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
  8. On completion of the review, within two to three weeks, the office will inform the applicant through phone number or email to collect the Registration Certificate.


Apply online

  1. To apply for Pesticide Service Registration online, the applicant has to visit the following Apply Online
  2. Visit the link and the application form for Pesticide Approval will be opened. The applicant has to complete the first page of the form with required details and click “Continue” button.
  3. Similarly complete the next section and click “Add to Basket” button. Then, enter the code provided in the next page and click “Submit” button.
  4. Provide the contact information in the next page and click “Submit” button.
  5. Choose an applicable payment option in the next page, follow the on screen instructions and click the applicable button to make the payment.
  6. The applicant should pay 220 dollars as fees through credit or debit card. Once the payment is made, the application will be considered to be submitted.
  7. Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
  8. On completion of the review, within two to three weeks, the office will inform the applicant through phone number or email to collect the Registration Certificate.

  • Any Company or Corporation that is registered in New Brunswick and intends to apply or use pesticides can apply.

  • The applicants should complete the application form with all mandatory details provided with absolute legibility.
  • The applicants are advised to attach all the required documents without any insufficiency, to avoid rejections and delay in processing.

  • Operating name of the company
  • Physical and mailing address
  • Pesticide Storage address
  • Legal land description and/or Block Plan number
  • Details of the Authorized Representative
  • Details of the Chief Executive Officer/Owner
  • Contact person details (for 24-hour Emergency Contact)





Need for the Document

  • All pesticide applications conducted for fee or reward, or by air, to water or for research purposes (to areas greater than five hectares) must be conducted under a Pesticide Use Permit.
