1. You obtain a copy of a birth certificate by going to the General Registry Office between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. every day, except Sundays and holidays.
   On Saturdays, you may come in to the office from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m.
2. Do not forget to bring a valid identification, you may be asked to present this to confirm your identity and to make sure that you have the right to obtain a copy of the birth certificate.
3. Pay the application fee and wait for instructions from the Registrar regarding when can you comeback to collect the certificate.
