1. To Apply for a Passport, the applicant has to approach the Government of Montserrat, Brades, Montserrat link
2. The applicant has to use the following link to get the application form link
3. Scroll down to check the request for an application form.
4. Enter the name and email with the message and click the “Send” button.
5. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer through email.
6. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
7. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
9. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
10. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
11. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
12. Then the application will be processed further.
13. The officer will review the application and may request additional information or clarification if necessary.
14. In some cases, an interview may be required as part of the application process. If the applicant is asked to attend an interview, that person needs to make the necessary arrangements and bring all required documents.
15. Once the passport is ready, it will be sent by mail or made available for pickup at the nearest British diplomatic mission or designated location.
16. This entire process can be completed within 2 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

To be eligible to apply for a passport in Montserrat, one must meet the following requirements:

• The applicant must be a British Overseas Territories Citizen (BOTC) of Montserrat.
• The applicant must be at least 16 years old.

• The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
