Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to severe and multi-disabled persons who are living below poverty line.
Apply In-Person:
central government scheme - Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme

1. To apply for this scheme, the eligible person has to submit two copies of duly filled application form along with required documents to the concerned district social welfare officer.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective counter OR write on a plain paper OR download using the following link. link please select the hyperlink under disability pension session as per requirement for application form.
4. After scrutiny, the application will be processed further.
5. Following the approval, the approval letter is dispatched to the respective Post Office of the applicant or bank, where a savings account is opened in the name of the beneficiary for making the payments.
6. In case of rejection of application, the applicant is duly informed.

State government scheme

1. State has budget for this pension only for 25 individuals with disability per year
2. Applicant shall apply two copies of duly filled application form along with required documents to the district social welfare officer.

5. This application will be processed further.
6. Following the approval, the remittance of pension will be done through cash as per notification.
7. In case of rejection of application, the applicant is duly informed.
