Following are ways using which you can renew a driver license.

Apply through Director General Of Transport (Driver License Office)

1. Authority to contact : Transport Department Office (Driver License Office) in your area
2. Make sure you choose the office near by the place where you live.
3. Make sure you have the documents that are listed under the Required Documents section of this page.
4. if you are successful with the documents that you provide, your Mexican driver license will be renewed.
   
   

Apply through Driving School
You can approach a driving school in your area who can help you out in renewing your driver license. But they will charge you for the service they provide. Following is list of driving schools which you can get in touch with : Mexico Driviing School List

• Previous License (Original)
• Proof of non-infringement by the municipality (in case of loss of the previous license)
• Proof of residence (if you have changed)

In type C:

• Current Flyer (for public service operators) or c Arta where you specify the characteristics of the vehicle and indicated that it will not be used for public service.
• Copy of registration certificate (of the unit).
• Copy of the IFE of the person signing the letter
