Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for renewal of registering as a veterinary practitioner in Meghalaya is available in the Meghalaya State Veterinary Council.
2. Location link of the council is – Link.
3. After getting the application form, the applicant has to fill in all the necessary details.
4. Applicant should make sure to carry the originals and photocopies of the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Fee must be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. Applicant has to attach the photocopies of the documents along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
7. Renewal of registration will be done within 15 days. If the renewal has not been done within a month, then, the applicant can visit the council to know status of their application.

• Self-Attested Copy of Degree Certificates (B.V.Sc. and A.H.)
• Lid Registration ID Card (Original)
• Two passport size photographs

• Applicant should keep track of their renewal date.
• Applicant must provide genuine information.
• Passport size photos that are submitted for the renewal process must be recent ones and should have taken within the past 6 months.

• Applicant Name
• Father’s or Husband’s Name
• Nationality
• Address
• Date of Birth
• E-mail ID
• Employment status with detail
• Basic veterinary qualifications possessed by the applicant
• Registration Number
  

• Veterinary practitioner registration is necessary for legally practicing.
• Renewal of registration must be done for continuing the veterinary practicing for another year.
  

The Meghalaya State Veterinary Council is responsible for the renewal of registration of veterinary practitioners, maintenance of registration of veterinary practitioners and other related issues in Meghalaya.
