Apply In-Person

1. To renew a driver's license in Mauritius, the applicant should make the application to the Traffic Branch of the Mauritius Police Force. Please view the Mauritius Police Force contact details through this Contact Details.
2. Visit the Mauritius Police Force office and obtain the Renewal driver’s license form at the reception of the Traffic Branch.
3. Read and complete the renewal form as required and then prepare the required supporting documents and attach the documents to the application form.
4. Then the applicant should pay the required renewal fee at the cash desk and obtain the payment receipt.
5. Upon making the payment, the applicant should submit the application to the official at the Traffic Branch service section.
6. The official will verify the application and the application form is complete accordingly and all the documents are provided as required, the application will be forward to the relevant official at the back office for processing.
7. The renewal application will be processed and the driver’s license will be renewed and issued to the applicant.
