Apply In Person

1. To apply for making changes on a Vehicle Registration Book, the applicant should make the application to the National Land Transport Authority (Road Transport Division). Please view the National Land Transport Authority (NLTA) contact details through this Contact Details.
2. In case of a change of the engine or color of vehicle, the applicant should visit the National Land Transport Authority office and obtain the amendment application at the Road Transport Division reception.
3. Then complete the amendment form accordingly and attach the original registration book of the vehicle to the amendment form.
4. The applicant should then visit the National Land Transport Authority examination center with his/her vehicle to be examined by the National Land Transport Authority examiner.
5. The examiner will check the vehicle and complete the examination report on the amendment form.
6. Then the applicant should submit the amendment form along with the original registration book of the vehicle to the service official at the Road Transport Division.
7. The official will verify the form and the registration and complete the required amendment on the registration book of the vehicle.
8. The applicant will then be issued the amended registration book.
9. In case of change of address, the applicant should visit the National Land Transport Authority office with the original registration book of the vehicle along with the evidence of the applicant’s new address ie Utility - CEB, CWA, or telephone -bill.
10. The amendment application will be processed by the National Land Transport Authority at the Road Transport Division upon verification of the address and the applicant will be issued with the amended registration book on the same day of the application.
