Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a Game Venison Dealer Operation License, you should make your application to the National Agricultural Products ​Regulatory Office (NAPRO) Under the Ministry of Agro-Industry and Food Security. You can view NAPRO’s contact details through this NAPRO Contacts.
2. Visit the Ministry of Agro-Industry and Food Security office and obtain the application form for Game Venison Dealer, or download the application form from the ministry’s website through this ​​Application Game Venison Dealer.
3. Read and complete the application form accordingly and obtain the required supporting documents as instructed.
4. Go to the ministry office and pay the application fee at the cashier and obtain the payment receipt.
5. Upon the payment, submit your complete application along with all the required documents including the payment receipt to the NAPRA department for verification.
6. The NAPRO official will assess your application to check if the form is completed as require and if you have provided the necessary documents and all the payments have been made.
7. After the verification, the NAPRO official will issue you the acknowledgment receipt of your application.
8. Your application will be forward to the relevant NAPRO official for processing.
9. NAPRO will review your application and if the application meets the standard requirement, the application will be approved and the Game Venison Dealer operating license will be processed and issued to you.

• Trade Certificates.
• Payment receipt.
• Food Handlers certificate.
• Certificate of Incorporation of Company (if applicable).
• Any other document requested by the NAPRO.

Individual/business/companies who wish to operate as a Game venison dealer.

The application fee is Rs 200.

License fees​

• Game Venison Dealer: Rs 300 per hunting season.
• Venison dealers’ close season: Rs 200 per close season.
• Venison dealer: Rs 500.
• Venison retailer: Rs 500.
  

The license is valid for the hunting season and it is eligible for renewal.

It is unlawful to deal in venison without a valid license and to be in possession of venison that has been killed or is thought to have been killed illegally.​

• Full names of the applicant/company /organization.
• Address of the premise/facility.
• National identity card number.
• Business registration number.
• Contact details /applicant/company/organization.
• Full name of director or person responsible for the day-to-day of the business (if applicable).
• Declaration of the applicant (signature/company stamp).​
  

The license proves that you have been permitted to participate in the venison activity as required by law.​
