Apply In Person
- To apply for a Road Service Licence, the applicant should make the application to the National Land Transport Authority (NLTA). Note that the applicant can only apply for a road service license when applications are invited in the press and the applicant meet’s the criteria laid down in the advertisement.
- Once the applicant has confirmed that he/she meets the advertised criteria they shall visit the NLTA office and collect the application form.
- Thn as the applicant, complete the application form correctly and prepare your birth certificate and your National Identity Card and If the application is to be made in the name of a company, prepare the deed of company and the certificate of incorporation along with all the required documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below.
- Then go to the NLTA office in person, and pay the application fee at the cashier's office and obtain the payment receipt.
- Then submit the application along with all the required supporting documents to the official at the service desk.
- The official will check if you have completed the application form accordingly and confirm the documentation you have provided then you will be issued with the acknowledgment receipt of the application.
- The application will be forwarded to the responsible authority for assessment.
- The authority will evaluate your application and you will be convened by the authority for a hearing regarding the application.
- The authority will review your application and the hearing report and if your application is successful, you will be notified through your contact details and required to pay the applicable fees.
- Visit the NLTA office and pay the fee applicable for the implementation of the license.
- After the payment, go to the licensing section of the office and obtain the conditions of implementation along with Road Service Licence.

- CEB or CWA or telephone bill confirming your place of residence.
