Apply In-Person

1. To apply for the Contributory Pension, the applicant should make the application to the Ministry of Social Security and National Solidarity. Please view the Social Security contact details through this link: Contact Details.
2. To obtain the application form, the applicant should visit his/her local social office and obtain the application at the reception of the office.
3. Complete the application form correctly and then prepare all the required supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below and attach the documents to the application form in a single file.
4. Then return to the local social security office and submit the application to the officer at the pension fund section.
5. The official will verify the application and forward it to the pension board for processing.
6. The board will evaluate the application and if it meets all the required standards for issuing the pension, the board will approve the application for free.
7. Once the application is approved, the pension will be disbursed to the applicant's account.
