Notes:

* Photo ID Card (All Types).

There is no fee (gratis) for an ID Card if you are 65 years of age or older, or if you have a disability which limits a major life activity.

* Fees may be prorated per year (21 & over - 5-8 years).

Other License Related Fees

Effective October 1, 2012, the Maryland MVA started the conversion of Non-commercial drivers licenses and identification cards (ID cards) to an 8-year period of validity.

Duplicate Driver's License or ID Card

You can only apply for a duplicate driver's license or ID card online or through a MVA Self-Serve Kiosk. Applications for these transactions will no longer be handled over the counter and the duplicate drivers license or ID card will be mailed to the address on record at the MVA.
