Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a firearm license, the applicant will need to report that their license has been stolen or lost to the Chief firearms officer or the local police.

3. The applicant will need to complete and submit the application form, use the following link to the application form: Application Form.
4. The applicant will need to attach documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant will have to pay a replacement fee.
6. The applicant shall receive their firearm license within 45 days from the submission of the application; they will need to collect it from the office.

Apply by Mail

1. The applicant must report the loss or theft of their license to the chief firearms officer or the local police.
2. The applicant will need to download and complete the application form, use the following link Application Form.
3. Fill in all the relevant details and attach documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The applicant will need to pay fees by filling out the fee section of the application form.
5. Mail the application form to the following address: Royal Canadian Mounted Police P.O. Box 1200 Miramichi NB E1N 5Z3.
6. The applicant shall receive their firearm license within 45 days from the submission of the application; they will need to collect it from the office.
