Apply via Agent
Apply In-Person:
- To apply for a firearm license, the applicant will need to report that their license has been stolen or lost to the Chief firearms officer or the local police.

- The applicant will need to complete and submit the application form, use the following link to the application form: Application Form.
- The applicant will need to attach documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant will have to pay a replacement fee.
- The applicant shall receive their firearm license within 45 days from the submission of the application; they will need to collect it from the office.
Apply by Mail
- The applicant must report the loss or theft of their license to the chief firearms officer or the local police.
- The applicant will need to download and complete the application form, use the following link Application Form.
- Fill in all the relevant details and attach documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant will need to pay fees by filling out the fee section of the application form.
- Mail the application form to the following address: Royal Canadian Mounted Police P.O. Box 1200 Miramichi NB E1N 5Z3.
- The applicant shall receive their firearm license within 45 days from the submission of the application; they will need to collect it from the office.
