Apply Online:

1. To get a Life Insurance Agent Certificate of Authority, the applicant must approach the Manitoba Government. Here is the contact Link
2. The applicant will need to write and pass the Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP). Find information here Link
3. The applicant will need to log in to their licensing portal, click on the following Link
4. If the applicant does not have an account. Follow these steps to create one:
   • On the portal, click on the “New Registration” option.
   • The applicant will need to enter their email address and click on “Save”.
   • The applicant will need to verify their email address.
   • Once the applicant verifies their email address, the account will be created.
5. Once logged in, on the left side of the page, click on “Applications” then “New application”.
6. Select the “Apply for a new license” option and click on “Continue”.
7. The applicant will need to fill out an application with all the relevant details.
8. The applicant will need to submit additional documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
9. The applicant will also need to make a fee payment. Find further information under the “Fees” section of this page.
10. The applicant will need an insurance company to act as their sponsor. For further information, click on the following Link
11. The applicant will have to make a fee payment. Find further information under the “Fees” section of this page.
12. The application will be processed within 10 days from the submission of the application.
