Apply In-Person

1. The applicant should present him/herself and the vehicle to the Regional Transport Directorate at the Gray Card section, or the transport subdivision at the Cercle level near you and express your interest at the service desk.
2. The branch agent will then search for the file and forward it to the cash counter, you will then be advised to make payment of the required fees.
3. Upon making payment the file is returned to the Gray Card section, where it is recorded and numbered.
4. The Gray card section agent will then fill in the form of the provisional document which he/she transmit it to the Head of Division or the Regional Director for signature.
5. The provisional document for the transfer of the gray card is then returned to the Gray Card Section to be issued to the applicant within 2 days.
6. The file is then forwarded to the Computer Room for seizure. It is then validated by the agent in charge of validation and returns to the Computer Room for the registration of the registration card.
7. The file is then returned to the Gray Card section, where it is sent to the Secretariat for the establishment of the dispatch slip to the National Directorate after having been endorsed by the Head of Division and signed by the Regional Director.
8. At the National Directorate, the file is registered and its conformity with the parent file is checked. If it is compliant, the Director or his Deputy signs the document, which is returned to the Regional Directorate of Transport. The file remains in the archives of the National Directorate. Note If the file is not compliant it is rejected.
9. The applicant or representative should then re-visit the office where you had file the application with the identity cards and provisional card document and present them to the agent to be verified, who will then issue you with the updated Gray card.

LEGAL FEES
• Own DNT fee: Gray cards: 10,000 FCFA and PVC: 2,500 FCFA
• Revenue stamps: 1,500 FCFA / CV
• Road safety fee: 10,000 FCFA + 500 FCFA / plate
• License plate fees: 6,000 FCFA / plate
