Apply In-Person

1. Applicants should visit the National Directorate of Domains and Cadastre office near you and express your interest at the front desk.
2. Submit the supporting document as listed {under required document section below} to be verified and recorded by the attending officer.
3. If the officer is satisfied that the file is in order, he/she will forward it to the cash counter, you will then be advised to make payment of the administrative fees, upon which you will be issued with an acknowledgment receipt.
4. Upon making payment, the file will be forwarded to the domanial section for verification of the title deed.
5. You will be notified of the outcome by the National Directorate of Domains and Cadastre office and given further instruction in person or by phone.

The legal fee is usually 5,000 FCFA

• Full name of the owner of the plot/land
• Address/contact details of the owner
• The number of the plot/land title, if applicable the number of the land title
• The registration number in the folios of the service domains and cadastre.
• Area and location of the plot/land
• Identification document details.
  

Verification of title deeds allows all persons to establish with regard to third parties their property on a plot for residential use or on a land title either at the district town hall, or at the district's state affairs or at the services customs and cadastre depending on the location of the plot and the nature of the title.
