Following are the 2 ways through which you can apply for renewal of driver license.

Apply In-Person

1. Following are the list of RTD office locations where you can approach : RTD Office Locations
2. Submit a letter of appeal to the Drivers Licensing Division, and providing reasonable grounds for the appeal.
3. Submit a copy of the identity card / passport and driving license.
4. A reply, whether a letter of approval or rejection will be sent to the address stated in the letter of appeal.
   
   

Apply On-Line

1. Go to ERayuan in the RTD website: http://www.jpj.gov.my.
2. Complete the application form on-line.
3. The reply letter, either an approval or rejection, can be printed directly from the website within 14 days from the date the application is received.

Note : The Director General of RTD Malaysia has the power to approve / reject any application. If successful, the applicant is exempted from taking Part I of the driving test, but are required to sit for Practical Test II and III. If the application is not successful, the applicant is required to take Part I, II and III of the driving test via the normal procedure.
