1. Form a group and notify the Registrar of Cooperative Societies of your intention of registering as a cooperative society.
2. Before the registration of the group, a cooperative member training conducted by an officer from the registrars office must be arranged.
3. The training officer will help the members formulate by-laws for their proposed cooperative society.
4. After the training the group must submit an application for registration.
5. The application is accompanied by registration fees, as prescribed under the cooperative societies regulations and three copies of the by-laws signed by the chairperson, secretary and treasurer of the proposed cooperative society.
6. Within thirty (30) days the group is notified if it has been registered or not.
