Apply In-Person

1. Obtain all the required documents for export and submit them to the customs for verification
2. The documents will be subjected to the documentary check to validate their authenticity and if they are correct
3. The customs will conduct a physical check on the consignment to verify if it meets the standard requirements, note - if the consignment fails the inspection, they will be detained by customs
4. Once the commodity pass the inspection process, your application will be approved for processing
5. The permit will be prepared and issued to you in due time
   
   

• For minor exports of value of not more than MK500,000: completes Form 38 
• For consignments of value of more than MK500,000,a Customs Agent on behalf of the exporter presents a Bill of Entry (Form 12)
• Commercial invoice
• Currency Declaration Form CD1
• Carrier’s Cargo Manifest
• Certificate of origin (optional).
