The Agriculture Department, the Government of Maharashtra provides online facility to user to apply for Issue of licence to carry on the business of Dealer in seed (State Level). User can read the instructions and fill the form. Online service is provided by the government to save time of the user. The portal is available in two languages English and Marathi, user can select any of the preferred language.

Apply Online through aaplesarkar :

1. The applicant needs to register on the website Create User Id
2. The applicant can login using the credentials and fill the form as instructed.
3. The applicant can fill the online application form for “Issue licence to carry on the business of Dealer in seed (State Level)” in the citizen login section: Online Application
4. Submit the application.
5. After submitting the application, user will get a reference slip or number which should be kept for future reference.
6. Status of the application can be tracked by the user in “Track your Application” section. For tracking the application, application id or reference number will be required.
   
   

Apply Online through eParwana website, Department of Agriculture:

1. New seed dealer license can also be obtained through eParwana website via following link: Dealer License
   
2. Applicant can select the type of seed dealer license to be availed.
   
3. Select the authority area and submit the application
   
4. Upload the documents as mentioned along with the application form.
   
5. Application fees can be paid online
   
6. Once you submit, the applicant will be directed to the application form.
   
7. Fill the form as instructed and submit.
   
   

Apply In-Person

1. Applications can also be made in-person through the Maharashtra Agriculture Department offices and sub-offices.

4. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
   
5. After the authorities validate your application and documents that are submitted, they will issue grower certificate for import of planting material.

• Proof of Address for Firm/Company/Shop/Sale/Storage(Godown) : 7/12 Extract/ 8 A/no 43 from grampanchayat,If premises is on rental basis then registered/ notarized rent agreement on Rs 100/- stamp paper along with ownership documents
  
• Proof of Address for Manager/Karta/Proprietor /Partner /Responsible Person/Expert/Production Supervisor : copy of tax receipt of property /copy of property registration document/copy of passport/ copy of Aadhar Card /Voter ID Card
  
• Copies of Valid principal Certificate (in Duplicate)
  
• Storage and sale point Inspection report - Proforma- IV
