Maharashtra - Link Aadhaar Card to IRCTC Account


Procedure

Apply Online

  1. To Link Aadhaar Card to IRCTC Account, the applicant has to make the application online via link
  2. To check the instruction, and guide on the home page, the applicant has to click the “Link your Aadhar” from the more tab.
  3. Now the applicant has to click the “Login” button.
  4. The applicant has to enter the user ID and password and click “Sign In”.
  5. The applicant has to click "my profile tab" and click on "Aadhaar KYC"
  6. Go to the MY ACCOUNT tab and select Link Your Aadhaar.
  7. Enter the details and click the “Generate OTP”
  8. The applicant gets the OTP from the registered mobile number.
  9. After entering the OTP click the “Verify OTP” button.
  10. KYC response is fetched from Aadhaar. Click the “Update” button to complete the Aadhaar verification process.
  11. A Pop-up window with a confirmation message will appear.
  12. Also, the successful registration of the link with the Aadhar number will be generated through SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  13. There is no fee for Link Aadhaar Card to IRCTC Account.
  14. This entire process can be completed within a few minutes.

Need for the Document

  • Users now have the advantage of booking 12 e-tickets in a month by linking their Aadhaar number with an IRCTC account. However, for booking a maximum of 6 e-tickets in a month, there is no need to carry out the Aadhaar verification process. To avail of the benefit, users should verify their Aadhaar number for a minimum of 1 passenger.
