Apply In-Person:

1. Approach the MSEDCL office to collect the Application form from or download it form the link: Link
2. Fill in the form and submit it at the respective office along with the required documents.
3. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
4. The applicant will be contacted by MSEDCL officer /Call Centre Representative on email/mobile provided by you for verification.
5. Once verification and payment procedure is successful, connection will be effected according to consumer’s application.
   
   

Apply Online:

1. To apply for temporary electricity connection in Maharashtra online navigate to the link Link
2. Click on “New Connection Request”.
3. Carefully fill all the prompted details and information. Refer to the “Required Information” section on this procedure.
4. Make sure to select the option “002-NewConnection (Temporary)” under the dropdown “Service Requested” in General Information.
5. After filling all the details click on “Generate OTP”. Enter the OTP and click on save.
6. The form is now saved and sent to MSEDCL.
7. Navigate to the link Link and enter the generated Application no. to complete the payment procedure and to upload the required documents.
8. Enter the consumer number, click on submit and follow the instructions along for successful documents upload and payment.
9. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
10. The applicant will be contacted by MSEDCL officer /Call Centre Representative on email/mobile provided by you for verification.
11. Once verification is successful, connection will be effected according to consumer’s application.

• One passport size photograph
• Proof of ownership or occupancy of premises (Any one: Passport, Voter ID, Ration card, Aadhar Card, Permanent Driving License)
• Identity Proof (Any one: Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport)
• SC/ST Caste Certificate or BPL Certificate (as applicable)
  

Remark:

• Required Statutory & regulatory permission is to be submitted.
• For industrial connection purpose following additional documents required:
  • Industrial Registration / DIC Certificate.
  • Separate sheet for Load profile.
