Maharashtra - Apply for Permission for Water Park

The Entertainment Duty Department, the Government of Maharashtra provides online facility to user to apply for Permission for Water Park. User can read the instructions and fill the form. Online service is provided by the government to save time of the user. The portal is available in two languages English and Marathi; user can select any of the preferred language. However, the application form can be printed and applied in person along with the necessary documents to the District Office.

Apply Online through aaplesarkar :
  1. To apply online, the applicant shall follow the given aaple sarkar link: Link and click on the "New User? Register Here" tab.
  2. From the given options, select any one mode to create User ID and Password.
  3. Now verify UID or Create your own user profile using OTP verification on your mobile.
  4. A new page will open up where the applicant has to fill up all the personal detail(Name, D.O.B, Age, Gender, etc) in the portal.
  5. Now enter the address as per the document.
  6. After that provide mobile number and OTP, PAN No., UID No., and confirm password.
  7. Now upload a photograph between 5kB to 20kB in JPEG format.
  8. Now choose from the drop now menu any one of the Proof of Identity.
  9. Finally provide a Proof of Address by clicking from the menu on screen.
  10. Click on the declaration box and then click the "Register" tab.
  11. After login, click Link and then click on “Apply”.
  12. The applicant will get an application displayed.
  13. Fill up the application form correctly and pay the requisite fee.
  14. On completion, the applicant will be notified.
  15. You can check the status of the application in the portal by signing in with User ID and password.



Apply Through Centres:

  1. To apply for Permission for Water Park through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre/sewa kendra. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
  5. Submit the application form with “Required Documents” to the office. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  6. The operator will process the application online.
  7. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
  8. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
  9. An ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
  10. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the permission will be granted according to the application.



Apply in Person:

  1. The applicant can download the application form:Application
  2. The filled application form along with the necessary documents mentioned below should be submitted to the Licensing Authority (The Commissioner of Police, the Performance license is issued by the office of Divisional ACP)
  3. Applications can also be made in-person through the Entertainment Duty Department offices and sub-offices.
  4. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. After the authorities validate your application and the documents that are submitted they will permit for water park.

Photocopy of documents should be attached while applying in person and scanned documents should be uploaded while applying online. Keep all the documents in scanned form like JPEG, GIF and PDF, so that it can be uploaded while making online application on the website. If submitting in person, xerox copies needs to be attached.

Q1.What is the procedure of obtaining NOC for the location of Amusement/Water Park?
The applicant should submit the following documents/NOC's along with the application:

  1. Plan of the proposed site indicating surroundings, roads and buildings up to a distance of 75meters from the perimeter. Schools, Hospitals, Temples or other similar places should be clearly indicated in the plan along with floorwise plans (3 sets) 
  2. Certificate from the Collector for non-agricultural land.
  3. Property Card.
  4. Appointment letter of the Architect.
  5. Agreement between landowner and Builder/Developer or Power of Attorney.
  6. Copies of applications submitted to the Building Proposal Department along with their remarks

Q2. What is the process followed after applying for NOC for the location of the Amusement/Water Park?

  1. For inviting objections from the public, if any, the applicant is directed to 
    1. Display a Notice Board at the proposed site.
    2. Publish an advertisement in 3 newspapers. 
  2. One set of plans along with application is forwarded to the local Police authorities for their remarks and also in-view of law and order. 
  3. One set of plan along with the application is forwarded to the Traffic branch for their remarks from the traffic point of view. 
    . After the reports are received, the licensing authority decide upon the application and the applicant is intimated accordingly.

Q3. How long does it take to process the NOC for the location of an Amusement/Water Park?
This procedure requires minimum five months of time.

Q4. What is the procedure involved for obtaining permission to build an Amusement/Water Park?

  1. The applicant should submit the following documents/NOC's along with the application: 
  2. True copy of the NOC issued by the licensing authority for location of Amusement/Water Park?.
  3. Approved plans (by the building proposals Department, BMC ) 
  4. Intimation of Disapproval by B.M.C. 
  5. NOC from Chief Fire Officer

Q5. How long does it take to process the permission to build an Amusement/Water Park?
This procedure requires minimum one month's time.

Q6. What is the procedure for granting a license to a proposed Amusement/Water Park?
After the construction is completed, the applicant should submit the following documents/NOC's along with the application for grant of license. (Court fees stamp of Rs.5/- should be affixed to the application) 

  1. Occupation certificate from the BMC 
  2. NOC from the electrical Inspector
  3. NOC from the Health Officer, BMC 
  4. NOC from the Chief Fire Officer 
  5. Certificate from MTNL 
  6. NOC from PWD 
  7. NOC from the Collector.
  8. Structural stability certificate from the Architect.
  9. Name and address of the manager and the electrician.
