Apply In Person:

1. The license/permission for demolishing any building is provided by the concerned authorities in the Municipal Corporation.
2. The application form has to be obtained from the authorities in the respective district Municipal Corporation.
3. The prescribed application form for building demolition is Appendix A-1.
4. The application form has to be handwritten by the person/owner/agent applying for demolition purposes.
5. The application form has to be submitted along with the required documents prescribed by the authorities.
6. Make sure that you have all the documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
7. The fee estimation will be provided by the authorities based on the building type and its location.
8. Before the demolition, the owner has to make sure to disconnect the supplies to the building such as
   • Water Supply
   • Electricity Supply
   • Sewage Connection
9. After supervising everything the authorities will provide permission to demolish the building.

The documents that are necessary for the building demolition permission are:

• Key Plan (Location Plan), (to be shown on first copy of the set of plans)
• Site Plan (to be shown on first copy of the set of plans)
• A detailed building plan
• Particulars of development
• Copy of sanctioned layout plan (if any)
• An extract of record of rights, property register card along with consent of co-owners where third party interest is created
• Attested copy of receipt of payment of scrutiny fees
• Latest property tax receipt
• No Objection Certificate(s), wherever required.
• Extra copies if demanded by the authorities.
• Supervision Certificate.
