7. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
8. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
9. Once everything is approved the incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the Bank Account.
10. This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Apply Through CSC

1. To Get a Scholarship for Girl Child, the applicant has to approach the respective “CSC” centre link

   NOTE: The applicant has to select state, district, and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centres.

2. Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for your requirement.
3. If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
4. Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
5. The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as an acknowledgment. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
6. Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
7. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
8. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
9. The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
10. Once everything is approved the incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the student’s Bank Account.
11. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.

• MP State Government has introduced a new Scholarship Scheme. The main objective of the scheme is to empower women by encouraging them to undertake education. This scheme is for talented girls who belong to BPL Category will get the scholarship.

• The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the poor girls of MP.
• Under this scheme, the girl child should not be married till the age of 18 years only after the age of 21 Rs 1 lakh (Rupees one lakh) will be transferred by the state government to the daughter’s bank account.
• Funds under this scheme are given in installments, according to the class. Once the girl leaves school, she will stop getting benefits under this scheme.
• If a family has adopted a child, they can also apply for the scholarship scheme.
