Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to severe and multi-disabled persons who are living below poverty line.
Apply In-Person:
For both State government scheme - SPARSH (Special Project for Assistance, Rehabilitation and Strengthening of Handicapped) & central government scheme - Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme

1. Applicant shall apply two copies of duly filled application form along with required documents to the gram panchayat/Sarpanch at rural level and Municipal council or municipality /Nagar Panchayat at urban level respectively.

Here select the respective district tab to reach respective district portal. Here, select menu option “THE DIRECTORY” > “PUBLIC UTILITIES” > “Municipality” for contact details.
3. Obtain the application form from the respective counter OR write on a plain paper
4. This application will be processed internally and will be verified and approved by the district collector.
5. Applicant gets notification about the approval.
6. Following the approval, the approval letter is dispatched to the respective Post Office of the applicant or bank, where a savings account is opened in the name of the beneficiary for making the payments.
7. In case of rejection of application, the applicant is duly informed.

• Any other document to claim benefits offered by respective state government as advised by authorities.

• Disabled (with acceptable percentage) applicant shall apply to avail this pension.
• Persons with Disabilities are provided with financial aid from the state government.

• This pension will be issued for life time.
