1. Births are registered with Liechtenstein's Civil Registry Office.
2. Applicants will need to complete a birth notification form. All births must be registered by the parents themselves. The birth is registered in the registry of the corresponding municipality.
3. Submit the completed form together with the original birth certificate issued by the doctor who delivered the baby or the midwife.

You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest Embassy of Liechtenstein in the country you are currently staying. When you call the Embassy, ask them what documents will they require you to submit to register a child's birth.

Submit your application together with all required documents to the consular service section of the Embassy.
