1. You can request for copies of a birth certificate in person at Liechtenstein's Civil Registry Office.
2. When you submit your request to the Registry Office make sure that you have provided the following details:
   1. your date of birth
   2. birthplace
   3. the name of your parents
3. You may be asked to present a valid identification to confirm your identity and to make sure that you have the right to obtain a copy of a birth certificate.
4. Pay for the certificate.

All births must be registered by the parents themselves. The birth is registered in the registry of the corresponding municipality and a copy of the birth certificate will also be obtained from the same office.
