1. Report any loss of passport or identity card directly to the switch of the Immigration and Passport Office in Vaduz or at the state police.
2. Pay an amount of CHF 20.00 for a notice of loss and a new ID document beantragen.
3. In case of theft, the incident must be reported to the State Police.
4. For a loss that happened abroad , the loss indicator must be placed at the nearest police station.

Note:
For a lost passport and identity card, the old document may no longer be used for retrieval and is handed over to the Immigration and Passport Office.
