EU / EEA driving licenses
In case of EU/EEA driver license you don't have to change or convert it, but if in ay case you would like to do it, you would have to go through an eye test and also present your foreign driver license. Following is the application form to use during the eye test : Eye Test Application Form

For the countries that are mentioned below, you would not require to pass a driving test, but have to provide with the following documents.

• Eye test Application Form
• German translation of the foreign driver's license from a recognized translation agency.
  
  

Exempt are owner / inside of driver's ways from an EU / EFTA country:
Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus, Andorra, Australia, Israel, Japan, Canada, Korea (Republic of), Croatia, Morocco, Monaco, New Zealand, San Marino, Singapore, Tunisia, USA.

All other countries that are not listed above should go through the driving test.

• All EU / EEA driving licenses are recognized in Liechtenstein and do not have to be exchanged, provided that result from the relocation, no changes to the document.
