1. You would have to do a eye check-up which is for colour-blindness and for normal vision.
2. You would have to get a letter from your country embassy that your driver license is original and valid. The letter from the embassy should be signed and stamped by the council.
3. You would also have to have a passport and color copy of driver license that you have.
4. The letter from the embassy should be translated into Arabic. There are certain legal translators that are recommended whom you can contact and they could do it for you. They would also translate and stamp the translated copy.
5. You would have to get another stamp for your translated copy from the legalization office. They sign it and place a postage stamp on it.
6. After completing the above stamping and signatures, you would have to take your documents to the driver license office and they would provide you with a Pink application form which you have to fill.
7. You have to fill the pink application form and take it to the police station where. You might require someone to help you because the form is in Arabic unless you know Arabic.
8. You have to submit the filled application form with your eye test report and the translated and stamped copy of your documents. These documents will be verified again and stamped in the police office. In some cases you might be asked to take an eye test again with the doctor in the police station.
9. After everything is completed with the police station, you would have to take the documents back to the driver license office. You have to submit the translated and stamped copy from the embassy, a copy of your passport, a copy of your drivers license, and 2 MORE pictures of yourself.
10. You will have to pay a fees for the process and they will give you a picture of yourself. You might be asked to pay fees for all the above tests and translations and stamping that is been done.
11. You will be provided with a Libyan driver license after 2 or 3 days.

• A signed and stamped eye test from a doctor showing that your colour vision and regular vision is OK.
• 2 copies of your drivers licenseone to go along with the letter you get from the Embassy and one to turn in with your actual drivers license application here in Libya.
• Your passport and drivers license(s) to show along the way to various offices.
• 1 copy of your passport to turn in with your drivers license application here in Libya.
• The stamped Arabic translated copy of the letter from your Embassy stating that your original drivers license is genuine.
• The pink application form for the Libyan drivers license.
• 3 small pictures the size does not seem to be too important.
