Application fee of $10

The certificate is valid for 6 months but can be renewed on request for not more than 3 months.

A Movement Permits may be obtained at all ports of Entry and Exit in Liberia. Required Information The certificate of movements Must be issued by Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization upon the request of the applicant, according to the information available in PINAs different sources.

• It might be issued regarding the movements of citizens or foreigners to submit it to the official authorities concerned.

The Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization or BIN entrusted with the Mandate to control and guard the boundaries and borders of the Republic against the illegal entry of aliens, examine, admit, if legally tenable, aliens into the country and if so desire by the aliens, grant such alien residence status, as required by law, as well as monitor and regulate the movement of aliens entering and residing in the country, board and search vessels, aircraft, railway cars or other vehicles in which it has reason to believe that aliens are being brought into Liberia.

The first thing you need to keep in mind is that the Liberia authorities have strict rules about illegal immigrant into Liberia and these rules are mostly safety rules or made to protect the people and environment.

In consonance with such mandate, the Bureau has a huge task to perform, in different boarder point of Liberia by monitoring and control Alien places like Ganta, Nimba County-a northern and commercial border town due to the conflicts from Guinean, Sierra Leonean, Ivoirian, Malian, Nigerian, Burkinabe, Ghanaian and Gambian mercenaries linked to various warring factions remained in the country without official residency.
