Apply In-Person

1. Applicant should visit the ONE-STOP BUSINESS FACILITATION CENTRE (OBFC), License Department office and collect the application form for Trader license.
2. A licencing assistant official will assist you to fill the forms, then submit the completed forms (original and duplicate copy) along with the supporting documents (listed below) to be verified.
3. A senior commercial officer will then verify the information on the forms and sign and stamp them.
4. Pay the application processing fee at the OBFC account department office, upon which you will be issued with a payment receipt.
5. Submit the payment receipt to the licensing department office to be verified and obtain the renewed signed and stamped Trader’s license within 20 minutes.

• Identification document (valid passport/ID card)
• Certified Valid Tax clearance certificate (certified by Lesotho Revenue Authority)
• The expired traders licence
• Any other document that may be requested by the authorized official

• Individuals/companies/businesses with an expired trader’s licence

• LSL 300 for individual license holder
• LSL 600 for other license holders

• Trader’s license is valid for 1 year and renewable thereafter

• Traders licence is an official document that gives its holder authorization to trade, registered/approved products or merchandise in Lesotho.
