How to Apply
Apply In-Person

1. Applicants should visit the C.T. POOPA Consulting Attorney & Notary Public, Attorney’s Reception office with your passport/ID card (original and copy), and have them certified at a fee of 5 LSL per copy or by an entitled public entity for free (e.g. Police).
2. You should then visit the One-Stop Business Facility Centre (OBFC), Department of Marketing office and collect the agricultural trading licence application form for individual or corporate bodies or click the link below to download.Link (agricultural trading licence application form for corporate bodies).
3. A Marketing assistant official will assist you to fill the form, then submit the completed form along with the supporting documents (listed below) to be verified if all the documents are in order you will be issued with an Adviser Note.
4. Head to the OBFC account department office with the Adviser Note and pay the required application and license fee, upon which you will be issued with a payment receipt and a stamped Adviser Note by the account officer.
5. Submit the payment receipt and the Adviser Note to the marketing department office to be verified and obtain the renewed Agriculture Trader License within 10 minutes.

• The agricultural trader license certificate is valid until the 31st of December and renewed thereafter.

• Agriculture traders license is an official authorization document issued to traders that only trade in agriculture products in Lesotho.
• Such Companies/business/person that are registered with the OBFC must renew their registration certificate/licence as Traders to keep enjoying the incentives that comes with the registration.
