How to Apply

1. You should visit the nearest Lesotho embassy or consult office in-person and express your interest.
2. Fill out the consular card request form which can be obtained from the embassy/consulate office.
3. Submit the completed form along with the supporting documents (listed under “Required Documents” section) for verification and processing.
4. Information obtained in the application form will be entered into the embassy computer database and you will be issued with a consult card.

1. That some embassy offers online registration process, visit the Lesotho embassy website portal of your host country and register if available.

• Valid Identification document (Lesotho ID card/passport)
• 2 identity photos
• Any other document(s)that may be requested by the authority

• Lesotho citizen who have travel abroad either for long or short stay period

• No fees is associated with the service

• The Registration is valid as long as you are still residing in that specific foreign country

• It is advised that all citizens of Lesotho (Basotho) travelling abroad, whether on short- or long-term basis, register with the nearest Lesotho Mission abroad.
