a. Apply In-Person

1. PCC can be applied in-person at the Criminal Records Bureau.

3. Application forms can be obtained from the respective office on your visit.
4. Go to the respective office. Don’t forget to take the required copy of documents along with originals to the office.
5. Please follow as per authorities guidelines and submit the completed application along with documents.
6. Applicant should pay for any charges if required as advised.
7. This application will be processed by respective department.
8. The certificate can be collected from the office where applicant applied in-person or will be delivered through mail upon notification or issued as per norms.

Applying process – overseas for both citizen and non citizen

a. Apply through representative

1. Applicant may apply through a representative.

3. The representative should be entrusted with the written authorization.
4. Representative will go to the respective office. They should not forget to take the required copy of documents.
5. Please follow as per authorities guidelines and submit the completed application along with documents. Applicant should pay for any charges if required as advised. Applicant filled application form should be used.
6. This application will be processed by respective department.
7. The certificate can be collected from the office where it was applied or issued as per norms.

Note:

Representative should carry the following while applying.

• Written authorization
• ID card or passport.

• Valid identity document (identity card, passport, driving license).
• Valid passport.
• Citizen proof/Document of National Identity (DNI).

Foreign national

• A copy of your passport while living in Lesotho.
• A copy of your permit of stay in Lesotho, passport number and place of issue as well.
• Proofs of legal stay (copy of passport held during the said period with respective stamp and seal).

In order for one to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate in Lesotho the individual has to be fingerprinted on official finger form at a Police Station in the domicile country. The fingerprint forms should be sent to:

This form should be accompanied by a copy of a valid passport. A service charge of a Hundred Maloti (M100.00) should be paid and the mail should be registered.
