• Electricity tax is paid by people who consume electricity in Latvia. The amount of tax that has to be paid depends on the amount of electricity that has been consumed.
• Tax taxation period is one calendar month and the tax paid to the state budget within 25 days after the tax period. The taxpayer shall, not later than 25 days after the tax period for electricity shall submit a tax declaration SRS.
