1. For the restoration of Latvian citizenship an application requesting for restoration of the citizenship of Latvia must be submitted to any regional branch of the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs.
2. The approval of your application will be decided by the Cabinet Ministers.

Latvian citizenship may be restored to a person, who had lost their citizenship as a result of the choice made by his/her parents or adopters, a legal error or an illegal deprivation of citizenship.
