1. The applicant should contact the Latvian State Revenue Service to obtain a retail License for Alcohol Beverage.
2. The applications can be submitted using the electronic portal. Following link takes you to the electronic portal : State Revenue Service Portal or e-mail or by post.
3. Appropriate application fee must be paid during the submission of the document.
4. A location plan must be submitted. The premises or the vehicle that is to be used for the alcoholic beverage sale, shop, store room and other areas related to the beverage sale will be investigated and validated to make sure they follow the appropriate standards as required.
5. if the license is request for a auto (mobile) shop the applicant must submit Seal of Certified Vehicle, Passport copy. Also, license or permit to operate the auto (mobile) shop in a specific route, to get the permission an application should be submitted to appropriate authority to obtain the vehicle and route license.
6. If you have a license to sell alcoholic beverages in a shed, the applicant has to obtain a license for erecting a shed.
7. If the applicant is not the owner of the company for which the application has been made, a power of attorney has to be provided by the owner to carry out these activities.
8. If the officials are satisfied with the documents provided and the standards that has been followed in the facility or in the mobile shop a license will be authorized.
9. The applicant has to pay the appropriate fees for the license to be obtained.
