Apply In-Person:

1. Approach the Electricity Maintenance Department Leh Ladakh to register your complaint regarding the faulty electricity meter.
2. Refer to the “Office Locations & Contacts” section in this procedure to see the respective address and contact details or please check the link – link#Record the complaint according to the office guidelines.
3. Once the complaint is recorded the consumer will be provided with an acknowledgement which needs to be kept safe until further notice.
4. The request will be taken care of by the respective authority.
5. A technician will visit on the address mentioned in the application to inspect the electricity meter.
6. If the electricity meter is found faulty, it is removed and taken to the department lab for checking.
7. The department will inform to the consumer to either collect the repaired meter or the replaced meter until which the consumer needs to wait until further notice from the department.
8. The consumer must follow the department notice and regulations to get the electricity meter fixed.

1. To Complaint about Faulty Electricity Meter, the applicant has to use the following link – link
2. Click the “POST GRIEVANCES” to start the process.
3. To verify process, the applicant has to enter the mobile number and enter security code which is provide in the page.
4. Click the “send OTP” button to get the OTP number from the registered number.
5. Enter the OTP and click the “Verify OTP”.
6. Now the applicant has to enter all the details in the application form.
7. Make sure to have all the necessary documents mentioned in the "Required Documents" section of this page.
8. Upload all the necessary documents in the page.
9. After completing all the details, click the “Submit” button.
10. There is no fee for this procedure.
11. Once the verification process gets done, the applicant gets call from the officer.
12. And the action will be taken immediately.
