Kosovo - Renew Passport


Procedure

  1. To renew your passport, you will need to go to your local passport authority (check contact information provided below)
  2. Present your identification and expiring/expired passport. You may be asked to present additional documents in case there are changes in your personal information.
  3. Pay the application fee.


If you are outside Kosovo

You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest Embassy of Kosovo in the country you are currently staying. The Embassy's consular service section will process your request to renew your passport.





Required Documents

  • Valid identity card
  • Expiring or expired passport
  • Completed renewal form


Documents needed for renewal of data for persons over 16:

  • Copy of the changed / renewed ID;
  • Old passport;
  • Proof of payment for passport.


Documents needed for renewal of data for persons under 16:

  • Old passport;
  • Decision to change the data (in case of change);
  • Electronic Photo (in case of extension);
  • Certificate of residence;
  • Proof of payment for passport.
