Death incidents that must be reported or registered with the civil registry:

The Death Certificate will be issued in a day or two after registration or after the request was submitted.

All death incidents that occurred within the territory of Kosovo, and death incidents abroad involving citizens of Kosovo must be recorded at the civil registry. Applications for registration are filed in the municipal assembly near the site where the death occurred or if the person died outside the territory of Kosovo, registration is filed in the last residence of the deceased in Kosovo.
A list which displays the kind of information which is required to complete the procedure. e.g. 1. Date of Birth. 2. City or County of Birth.
A Death Certificate is a document issued by the civil registry that declares the date, location and cause of a person's death. A copy of the death certificate is often necessary when you apply for administrative procedures, such as funeral arrangements or execution of the will.
Obtaining a death certificate can only be possible if you have registered first the incident with the civil registry.
