Apply In Person

1. To obtain a Certificate of Meat Transport, applicants are required to submit their request to the nearest slaughterhouse, which is registered and licensed by theDirector of Veterinary Services. of Agriculture Livestock Fisheries and Cooperatives
2. Applicants should express their interest to the Meat Inspector, authorized by the Director of Veterinary Services, who shall then cause the meat consignment to be inspected.
3. Where the inspector is satisfied that the consignment in the carrier or containermeets the required standards he/she shall issue the certificate,to the applicant upon making payment of the permit fee of Ksh 20.00.
4. The processing time accumulatively is within a day.
5. Once issued aCertificate of Meat Transport will be valid for one consignment.

• Valid company registration certificate.

• Ksh 20.00 For issuance of the meat transport certificate.

• Once issued a Certificate of Meat Transport will be valid for one consignment.
